Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 22 September 2026
These terms govern the use of Brix Job (brixjob.com), a job board operated by Brix Group International ("Brix Job", "we", "us"). Registered office: No. 2 Etang O.Obuli Crescent, Jabi, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria. Contact: [email protected].
By creating an account, posting a vacancy or applying for a role, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who can use Brix Job
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. A candidate account is for your own job search. An employer account is for an organisation that is hiring, and the person who opens it confirms that they are authorised to act for that organisation.
2. Your account
Keep your login details private and use an email address you control. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has used it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to mislead other users, or is used to post unlawful content.
3. What Brix Job does and does not do
Brix Job is a platform for advertising vacancies and sending applications. We are not an employer, an employment agency or a recruiter for the vacancies advertised by employers, and we are not a party to any agreement between a candidate and an employer.
We do not guarantee that a vacancy will lead to an interview, an offer or a hire, and we do not guarantee that a listing will produce a given number of applications. Employers decide who to contact and who to hire.
4. Using the site as a candidate
Applying for vacancies is free. When you apply, the information in that application is sent to the employer that advertised the vacancy. Give accurate information about yourself and do not send another person's details as your own.
Never pay a fee to an employer to apply, to be interviewed or to be offered a role, and never share banking passwords or card details with an employer. If a vacancy asks for money or looks dishonest, report it through Contact Us with the job link.
5. Posting vacancies
Employers are responsible for the vacancies they post. A vacancy must:
- be a real, current opening at the organisation named on the listing;
- describe the role, the requirements and the location accurately, and state any pay only where it is confirmed;
- comply with Nigerian law, including the Labour Act and the laws on discrimination in employment;
- not ask candidates for payment of any kind, for banking credentials, or for money to process an application;
- not advertise multi-level marketing schemes, commission-only recruitment of other recruits, adult services, or any unlawful work;
- not contain contact details or links whose purpose is to move applicants off Brix Job to avoid these terms.
Every vacancy is reviewed before it is published. We may ask for changes, decline to publish, or remove a listing that does not meet these terms. Editing a live vacancy sends it back for review, and the listing stays offline until it is approved again.
6. Listing periods and packages
A standard (Basic) vacancy is listed for up to 30 days from the date it is published. Applications close at 11:59 pm West Africa Time on the stated deadline, or when the listing period ends, whichever comes first. Closing a vacancy stops new applications; applications already received stay in the employer dashboard.
Paid packages, prices and their terms will be published on the Employer Pricing page before payment is enabled. Payment never publishes a vacancy on its own: every vacancy follows the same publication review.
Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund Policy, available at brixjob.com/refund-policy.
7. Applicant information
Employers receive the information a candidate submits to their own vacancy. Employers must use that information only to assess the application and contact the candidate about it, must keep it secure, and must not sell it, publish it or pass it to anyone else without the candidate's consent. Employers must comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 when they handle applicant information.
Brix Job is not a database of candidates. Employers cannot search or browse candidates who have not applied to their vacancies.
8. Content you provide
You keep ownership of the content you upload, such as a company description, a logo or an application. You give us permission to display that content on Brix Job for the purpose of running the service, and to store it as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to use any logo, image or text you upload.
9. Our content
The Brix Job name, logo, design and the text we write belong to Brix Group International. Do not copy, scrape or republish parts of the site without our written permission.
10. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, upload malicious code, collect other users' personal data, or use automated tools to harvest listings or accounts.
11. Availability
We aim to keep Brix Job available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may carry out maintenance that makes the site briefly unavailable.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, Brix Group International is not liable for hiring decisions, for the conduct of any employer or candidate, for the accuracy of a vacancy or an application, or for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or opportunity, arising from the use of the site.
13. Complaints and reports
Use Contact Us to report a vacancy, an account or content that concerns you. Tell us what you saw and include the link. We investigate reports and may remove content or suspend accounts while we do so.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use Brix Job after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms: [email protected], or use the Contact Us page.
